After a long 6 years I finally had the opportunity to reconnect with my French other half. In 2013 Romane lived with my family as a Rotary Exchange student. Even though almost 6 years have past, our interactions are familiar. After two weeks of solo travel I was very happy to be spending time with family. One of the benefits of being a foreign exchange student is that you end up having family all over the world.

I will spend 10 days with Romane traveling the southern parts of France and a weekend trip to Milan, Italy. This last leg of the trip will be a good balance of comfort and discomfort! I do not speak French or Italian and I am not so sure how much help Duolingo will do, but we shall see. So heres to new adventures with an old friend!
